Young Experimental Filmmaker/Director | Samuel McIntosh

Samuel McIntosh is a writer/director from Southern California creating thrilling, genre-bending films. He’s written and directed narrative shorts that have screened across the country, as well as Co-Produced films screened at Sundance and purchased by Showtime/Hulu. He founded the independent genre film production company Void Productions in 2017, which produces/distributes works from upcoming artists and hosts screening events worldwide, including sold-out shows in Los Angeles and Japan.

His latest short film, “Metal”, premiered in Paris, where it took home the Audience Award for Best American Short at the 2025 Champs-Élysées Film Festival.

He’s currently on the festival circuit with his short "Interstate", his new film "Metal", and is developing his feature debut.
